I have been a faithful iHerb customer for 13 years now, but somehow I never paid attention to iHerb reviews and their earning potential – until last month!
I had received a message about reviewing and earning $1, but instead of ignoring it as I usually did, I decided to take a closer look. I was shocked at how easy their review program was, and how quickly and effortlessly I could knock out reviews. Let me break it down for you all below!
How to Submit a Review
To get to the review page, simply go to www.iherb.com, log in and click on “My Account” on the top right. Go down to “My Reviews.” The page that opens will show a list of ALL the products you have EVER ordered from iHerb, with the exception of items that have been discontinued! Quite sobering, in my case! All you need to do is select how many stars (out of five) you would like to give the product, write a title for your review (a one-word title such as “Good,” or “Great” is sufficient), and then type in a review. The lined border of the review text box will turn green when you have written enough (generally two short sentences), and you just click “Submit” and you are done. You will earn $1 for every review you do on products that you ordered after July 1, 2020! It takes me approx. 10-15 seconds to do a review. Easy-peasy! You can sit and do it while watching a movie or listening to a podcast or audiobook, or take your laptop to a coffee shop and review away while sipping on your favorite drink.
Getting Your Money
So, how do you actually get your money, you ask? All your earnings can be seen on the “My Rewards” page – click on “My Account” on the top right, and go down to “My Rewards.” If you do 10 reviews or less per day, that money will more or less automatically be “banked” into your Rewards account (sometimes it shows up immediately for me, other times it might take an hour or two). If you do more than 10 reviews per day, there is a waiting time, which seems to take 24-48 hours, where your reviews will be checked and your credit banked afterwards. Now, with your rewards credit, you can either use it towards future iHerb purchases, or you can “cash out.” In order to cash out, you need to have $100 increments in earned reward credits. IHerb automatically applies any rewards you have to your next order, so keep this in mind. That is to say, if you would like to work on cashing out $100 in rewards, you need to write 100 reviews and then proceed to cash them out before you make your next order, or else the rewards will be applied to your order, preventing you from being able to cash out that $100.
How Much Money Have I Made?
I have been ordering from iHerb for a loooooong time. I first started in Thailand in 2010, and have continued as we moved to the U.A.E, Saudi Arabia and Cyprus. I also occasionally order for family back in the US. I had a staggering 299 products available for the $1 review program (and 631 products, in total). Initially, I didn’t notice the fine print which stated that products ordered before July 1, 2020 were not eligible for the $1 review reward, and I mistakenly reviewed several hundred of those ordered products, only to wonder why days later I was not awarded my review credits. Do not make the same sad mistake! In the end, I was awarded a total of $299 from iHerb reviews, to be used either in reward credit for future orders, or for cash out. So far, I have chosen to use the money for credit on future orders, as we are moving soon and I will be doing large orders to stock our pantry. And don’t forget – all the new orders you make – even those that are essentially “free” due to using the reward credit money for purchase – those products will soon show up on your rewards page and you can review them for $1 each, too!
In Summary
IHerb reviews are a shockingly easy way to earn money as cash or for future purchases. With only seconds needed to produce a review, don’t let this opportunity to earn pass you by! Log in today and start reviewing! And don’t forget to click on over to my personal iherb page to see some of my favorite product recommendations, and be sure to use my discount code LTC274 for 5% off all orders, whether you are a new or repeat customer (yes – the code works even if you are an old/returning customer) and 10% off iHerb’s own branded products!
